In response to Senator Ted Cruz voting against the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity issued the following statement:
“Cruz gives massive tax handouts to big corporations that get rich by keeping prices high but votes against cutting taxes for Texas families. This vote is a powerful example of Cruz’s wrong priorities and why Texas voters will defeat Cruz in November.”
