The United States hit another major vaccine milestone over the weekend and now at least 50% of states have “fully vaccinated at least half of their adults” as of Sunday. Nationally, over 60% of American adults have received at least one dose and nearly 50% are fully vaccinated.
This enormous achievement is a major step in the U.S.’s efforts to defeat this pandemic and jumpstart a robust recovery. And as the U.S. economy begins to rebuild, experts are crediting the strengthening job market with the “strong pace of Covid-19 vaccines.”
The milestone was made possible thanks to the American Rescue Plan –– which every Senate Democrat voted for and every single GOP senator opposed.
