DSCC Statement On Trump Endorsing Blake Masters In Arizona’s GOP Senate Primary

In response to Trump endorsing Blake Masters in the Arizona Republican Primary, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Patrick Burgwinkle issued the following statement:

“Trump sabotaged Republicans’ efforts to recruit Doug Ducey into the race, and ever since he’s bullied the remaining candidates into embracing his toxic election lies and an agenda that is totally out of step with the state. Now his endorsement will only intensify this intra-party fight, just like it has in GOP Senate primaries across the country – leaving whichever candidate limps out of their primary badly damaged and on the wrong side of the voters who will decide the general election.”
