Under Democratic leadership, Senate passes bipartisan infrastructure bill growing millions of good paying jobs and helping America out-compete countries like China
In response to the Senate passing the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Senator Gary Peters released the following statement:
“Through this historic investment in America’s bridges, roads, clean drinking water and high speed internet, Senate Democrats are growing millions of good paying jobs, helping America out-compete countries like China and delivering on voters’ top priorities. Senate Democrats have done what Republicans would not do: bring both political parties together to keep our promises and deliver results. And that’s exactly why in 2022 Senate Democrats will protect and expand our majority. To those Republicans who voted against this like Senator Johnson and Rubio: voters will hold you accountable.”
