Following the passage of Senate Democrats’ Build Back Better Budget resolution, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Senator Gary Peters released the following statement:
“Senate Democrats are keeping our promises to voters. We’ve cut taxes, passed a bipartisan infrastructure plan that grows millions of good-paying jobs and helps us out-compete countries like China. Now Democrats have advanced a budget that lowers health care costs, addresses Americans’ most important priorities and ensures no one making under $400,000 will pay more taxes. In 2022, the choice for voters will be clear: Senate Democrats are delivering results and helping Americans get back on their feet. Republicans like Senators Rubio and Johnson are standing in the way and looking out for the wealthy, well-connected special interests they serve at every chance.”
