In response to Senate Republicans blocking the PACT Act – legislation that is “the culmination of years of work by advocates to improve health care and benefits for veterans” – Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Nora Keefe issued the following statement:
“There’s one word to describe Senate Republicans’ vote against veterans’ health care: disgraceful. They’ve cast a petty, political vote that shows voters once again why they should reject the GOP in November.”
