On the second anniversary of Senate Democrats’ bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act being signed into law, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) spokesperson Tommy Garcia issued the following statement:
“Senate Democrats did what Republicans would not: bring both parties together to lower costs, make more products in America, and ensure we can out-compete countries like China. Two years later this work is continuing to bolster American manufacturing, drive down prices and bring more jobs back to our country. While Senate Republicans are pushing candidates who have gotten rich by outsourcing jobs and through ties to our foreign competitors like China, this legislation is a demonstration of how Senate Democrats are fighting for the priorities that matter most to American workers.”
