Following the NRSC’s announcement that it is cutting all independent expenditure advertising, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Communications Director David Bergstein released the following statement:
“As Senate Republicans slash their communications the DSCC will be continuing our advertising to voters across all channels and methods.”
During the 2022 Senate campaign cycle the NRSC faced widespread criticism for the exact same advertising move.
The NRSC’s advertising cuts come roughly one week after the DSCC announced a new multi-million dollar TV investment in the Texas and Florida Senate races.
