The DSCC released a new TV ad in the Montana Senate race, “Flat Out,” highlighting how Senator Daines has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from the drug and insurance industries while repeatedly voting against Montanans’ health care.
Despite recent attempts to “mislead” voters about his toxic record on health care, Daines has voted five times to gut protections for Montanans with pre-existing conditions, and his votes have put rural hospitals at risk and threatened to take away health care from thousands of hardworking Montana families. In stark contrast to Daines’ record, Governor Steve Bullock is fighting to lower health care costs and protect rural hospitals.
The ad is the 10th to run in Montana from the DSCC IE and is part of the committee’s previously announced offensive television and digital paid investments in key battleground states.

“Flat Out”
Transcript:
“Steve Daines has been caught, caught ‘flat-out’ lying to Montanans. The truth is Daines took over $700,000 from the drug and insurance industries, voted five times to gut protections for pre-existing conditions, to cause rural hospitals to close, and to take away health care from 90,000 Montanans. But Steve Bullock works for us, lowering health care costs and protecting rural hospitals. Steve Bullock puts Montana first.”
