New ad shows the fallout Sheehy is facing for his pattern of lies, inconsistencies and exaggerations he’s told about himself to Montanans
In response to Montana’s GOP Senate primary, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is launching a new digital advertisement on Tim Sheehy: “Shady Sheehy.”
The spot highlights the pattern of lies Sheehy has told Montanans about virtually every part of his life, including his bullet wound, growing up in a rural area, claiming to be a “cowboy” despite not running the day-to-day operations of his vanity ranch and claiming to be a successful businessman even though his government contract funded company is “deeply in debt.”
The ad will reach Independent voters in Montana on YouTube.

From DSCC spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity: “Sheehy represents everything Montanans hate about rich out-of-staters, and after he’s been caught lying about every part of his life, he’s shown Montana voters why they can’t trust him to look out for anyone but himself in the Senate.”
Sheehy’s pattern of lies, inconsistencies and exaggerations include:
