DSCC Launches First IE Ad Against Mike Rogers: “Florida Man”

Today, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is releasing a new ad in the Michigan Senate race, “Florida Man.”

The spot, “Florida Man,” highlights how Mike Rogers is bought by special interests and is only looking out for himself. In Congress Rogers took millions from Big Pharma and Wall Street and voted their way – then he went to work for companies helping Chinese and Saudi businesses while Michiganders lost jobs overseas. The ad will reach voters on TV starting today.

The advertisements are part of the DSCC’s previously announced $79 million advertising plan

FLORIDA MAN

Transcript:

Announcer: This is the nearly $2 million Florida mansion. Bought by the man. Bought by the special interests. Mike Rogers took millions from Big Pharma and Wall Street in Congress and voted their way, then went to work for companies helping Chinese and Saudi businesses while Michiganders lost jobs overseas. Rogers made millions and now he wants to be senator so he can cash in again. That’s Mike Rogers: In it for Mike, not for Michigan.
