DSCC Announces New Multi-Million Dollar Investment in Direct Voter Contact Programs

Today the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is announcing a new $25 million investment in direct voter contact programs across 10 states: AZ, FL, MD, MI, MT, NV, OH, PA, TX and WI. 

The investment will fund programs that reach voters directly about the stakes of the election, information about how to vote and the importance of participating. 

“A formidable ground game makes all the difference in close races – which is why the DSCC has been working all cycle long to build the organizing infrastructure that will lead to Senate Democrats’ victory,” said Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Sen. Gary Peters. “This increased investment will help our campaigns expand their organizing capacity, communicate with more voters about the importance of participating in this election and ensure we are reaching every voter we need to win.” 

The new investment includes funding for: 

• Additional on the ground organizers that will reach voters at the doors and in their communities;
  
• Programs to reach voters on their phones;
  
• Programs to reach specific constituencies like young voters and communities of color;
  
• And digital organizing programs to reach voters online wherever they are.

Additional direct voter contact funding and states could be added as the cycle continues.  

The DSCC previously announced funding for: 

• A “$79M advertising onslaught” in 9 states (AZ, FL, MI, MT, NV, OH, PA, TX, and WI);
   
• A multi-million dollar investment to fund organizing staff in MT and OH, and offices in five states (MT, NV, OH, PA, and WI); 

• Funding on the ground staff focused on Republican accountability in 10 states (AZ, FL, MD, MI, MT, NV, OH, PA, TX and WI).
