Throughout the month of June and around the second anniversary of the Republican Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, Democratic Senate campaigns joined local leaders, health care providers, and voters to launch a “blitz” shining a spotlight on the threat that Republican Senate candidates pose to women’s rights to make their own decisions about their health care. 

Here’s what voters in Senate battlegrounds are seeing: 

In Arizona:

• KJZZ: Arizona Democrats mark 2nd anniversary of Dobbs decision. “‘We have extremist Kari Lake, who looked at what the United States Supreme Court did, and said the 1864 ban on abortion was a great law,’ said former lawmaker Athena Salman, who now works for Reproductive Freedom for All.”

In Florida:

• Florida Politics: Democrats accuse Rick Scott of hurting women with IVF, contraception votes. “Democrats are attacking U.S. Sen. Rick Scott for voting in line with other Republicans against bills protecting access to contraception and in vitro fertilization (IVF).”

• Sun Sentinel: Florida Democrats lambaste Republicans, Trump and Rick Scott on anniversary of Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. “Mucarsel-Powell, who organized the Fort Lauderdale news conference, said in the two years since Roe was overturned, ‘extreme Republicans have launched a full-on attack against a woman’s right and freedoms. And, of course, Rick Scott has led this attack.’”
