Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle – who wants abortion banned under all circumstances – suggested on a radio talk show that a 13-year-old girl who was raped by her father should just turn “a lemon situation into lemonade.” In an earlier radio interview, she said that getting pregnant after a rape just might be “God’s plan.” Join us in telling Angle that her views are not only insensitive – they are completely out of touch with reality. Women deserve better.

Tell David Vitter It’s Time To Fess Up

According to police reports, an aide to Sen. David Vitter, R-LA, stabbed his girlfriend and held her hostage for 90 minutes. He later pleaded guilty to three charges. Was this aide fired immediately? No. Brent Furer remained on staff for more than two years -- advising Vitter on women’s policy issues! Vitter refuses to explain why.

First a prostitution scandal, now this. Enough is enough. Tell David Vitter it’s time to fess up. Why was an abusive aide kept on staff for TWO years? We need a U.S. senator who will stand up for women and tell the truth.

The oil spill on the Gulf Coast is threatening wildlife and livelihoods, but according to Rush Limbaugh, there’s no reason to clean it up. Just leave it alone! Rush said, “The ocean will take care of this on its own...it’s as natural as the ocean water is.”

Cyanide is natural too, but that doesn’t mean we should let it into our water supply. Sign our petition. Rush Limbaugh should see for himself that there’s nothing “natural” about birds, fish, beaches and marshland coated with oil. Demand that Rush pull on some rubber gloves and go help with cleanup effort.
